Chef Gigi Sini's dream began in 1991 when, following the successes of his cuisine in Ploaghe, a small town near Sassari, he decided to invest in this wonderful establishment, bringing seafood cuisine to the foothills of Limbara.
Today, his project is carried forward with great commitment and dedication by his wife Caterina and his daughters Silvia and Virginia. It is a project in constant and continuous improvement to always efficiently meet the needs of the market and the customers.
The ingredients used in the kitchen are selected from the best local produce, quality ingredients from small producers, supply chain companies, and Sardinian excellences, with a few concessions to high-end national products. These products are chosen to enhance the region and highlight the cuisine of the Golden Gate, blending traditional dishes with new proposals, between sea and land.
The cuisine at the Golden Gate prepares delicious off-menu dishes and desserts that follow the changing seasons: seasonal products such as mushrooms, artichokes, sea urchins, figs, and courgette flowers are featured in the alternative menu options.
